I am excited to write about gardening, food, and other topics dear to me: faith, family, community, creativity. 

And what exactly should you expect from this blog?

Honestly, I don’t know 100% where this is going, but I know I needed to start. As my garden grows, as time moves on, I will go forward writing when I can about my thoughts, observations, growth.

I think encouraging others to garden is good also on a practical level. It is good to know how food is grown and how to grow food yourself.

I’m someone who talks about the heart, just sayin’ so you know ahead of time. Gardening is an important part of my life. There are so many parallels to life.

I am grateful for what God has put in my heart. One of those things is a desire to share knowledge, observations, thoughts, and encouragement. So I feel compelled to start this blog. I am growing and hope to encourage others as they grow. I am excited about what you will learn and grow to in your garden and in life, and what you can share with others. 

The garden community is wonderful and I am so ready to make my contribution.

I hope for a lot of growth, in the garden and in life. As for this blog, I hope in the Lord that my contribution will be one of substance.
