Visiting NJ Farmers Markets (Without A Car)

How I came to start this list. . .

Recently being without a car has helped me realize how many farmers markets are located at train stations. And many others are a short walk from a station or bus stop.

I am happy to share this information with you.

Right now I am focusing on the locations that I can get to easily and affordably. No more than one transfer (for me) to get there. I hope to add to this list in the future.

For more of the backstory of this list, please see my blog.

NJ Farmers Markets

With Nearby Public Transportation

This is a partial list. I plan to add to it over time.

All of these markets are weather permitting. Most stay open in light rain, while severe weather cancels.

Check the website for the specific market you plan to attend before you go to double-check location, times, scheduled vendors, and any changes.

Also double-check train and bus schedules and stops. (Note: The train tends to be a little more expensive than the bus.)

Safety is first. Be aware of your surroundings.
