My language learning story is about Spanish. I started learning Spanish many years ago. 

In school, a lot of the practice was reading and writing, with a little speaking practice. 

I liked all of my teachers. Now, I’m a language teacher also.  

I’m an English teacher, so I know that it’s difficult to learn a language.

But I like learning languages. 

For Spanish practice, I read in Spanish and I listen to Spanish news, videos, and Bible audio. 

I also take Spanish lessons. My lessons are one-to-one. 

I’ve been trying to talk more with Spanish speakers. 

I can read and write some Spanish. Listening is difficult for me. 

When I speak, I need a lot of time to form a sentence. 

But that’s okay. I enjoy learning and communicating in Spanish and I hope to get better at it.
